What would you feel if you haven't paid from your hard work

I am a blogger for about 2 years and I have not experienced this kind of treatment before! I was not being paid by one of the blogging networks named payingpost or blogadvertisingstore. I sent them a million of emails but I haven't received any replies. I have just reviewed their terms and conditions here -> terms and conditions, and this policy is very clear to me, I am very sure that I have not violated their TOS, my blog is the cleanest one, I don't even put adsense nor deleting posts or blogs, nor nofollow links, post altered aka., adbright, etc stuffed, now who is the liar? I have not done these things and I do my best to be a decent and professional blogger to them but why still I haven't paid or the payment is delayed. And I don't hear any information, communication, or explanation why they delay my payment? So, that is why it's remained a suspicious to me, not only me but to other bloggers too. I really don't have problem on their TOS, the big problem is really them, the advertisers pay them in advance so there is no reason of delaying payment to the bloggers. Their unprofessional and childish action is very apparent. I don't understand the attitude of this CEO or founder, there is really something wrong of this person... If you found that your other bloggers are deleting posts or blogs then you know already the answer for sure because you were not paying them on time, aside from having a big amount of threshold, bloggers need to strive to wait for months to reach the payout and then after reaching it, you have never take the responsibility to pay them and no communication at all, so it's so clear that it's your own mess, and there are lots of bloggers who are decent and doing the great job by following your rules but you were just being deaf at all!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Happy thanksgiving to all Americans- What do you prepare today? Are you preparing turkey, mashed potatoes, beans, stuffing, etc.? Or are you having lunch or dinner to your family, relatives, and friends? Are you having a party in your house with friends? What are the things you are doing in this thanksgiving day? I am pretty sure that if you haven't cook in home you are going out with friend's house to eat lunch or dinner (lol), or your family decided to eat dinner at the restaurant instead of cooking at home. Well, me and my hubby decided to cook in home because it much fun and I think you can save more too, and we were not going anywhere either, we stayed in home. We bought a smaller whole turkey instead of buying big whole turkey or breast (since there is no much difference on the price), we cooked it for many hours and finally we ate the yumyum turkey accompanied by stuffing, mashed potato, beans, etc. ( my hubby was actually the one who cooked it), I don't even know how to cook the turkey but only one thing I know - it tastes good! Again Happy thanksgiving, enjoy the holiday and the food!

The adjustment status sent!

I sent the AOS (adjustment of status) on Nov. 13 and the mail package was arrived on Nov. 15 and was signed by Mr. Mercedo from the immigration. Then still on AOS touched, patiently waiting. After 6 days from the arrival in immigration the check was finally cashed out so the savings of my hubby is now empty (lol), I am so happy to hear it because it seems it's pretty quick. And then after 2 days from the cashed out I received two mails from immigration - it is the notice of action 1 and 2 ( one for I-765 and one for I-485), it is the receipt acknowledging that they received the package and the payment, and soon they will send me an schedule for biometrics (fingerprint) and I must bring these notice of action with me during the biometrics, they will send the appointment 14 days before the time schedule (that's what it says in the notice of action). Well I am so excited! I keep praying that hopefully there will be no problems in the processing. I also keep checking updates online about the processing status in that way I can track it easily. Well, patient is always a virtue. I am so happy!

But, despite of that happiness that I have felt, I'm also sad because the newer car of my hubby that he's been using is now broken and needs to be fixed, and must be brought to car shops or any auto body anaheim, he has already had one old car that needs to be fixed and now his newer one has got a problem. We have already spent big money for my status adjustment and now here's another problem that needs to be solved.

Eating at the restaurant!

Eating out!

It's a great idea to think about your health when dining out! While restaurants and delis are convenient for lunch and provide a welcome opportunity to socialize, the results of eating out may be less than favorable for your health. Why is that? A couple reasons : first, much food eaten away from home is high in fat and calories, and second people tend to overindulge when they dine out, eating healthier when they are at home. Regardless of where you are eating, any healthy diet should include plenty of different fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. However, even healthier food such as these may be more calorie-rich at restaurants; studies show restaurant food typically is more calorie dense - meaning more calories per bite - than similar food prepared at home. Well, honestly I really don't like to eat at the restaurant but my hubby does, I am so thankful that at this time we can't go far from home because his car needs to be fixed to car shops or to body shops irvine, so we prefer to cook in home.

In the united states, portion sizes have gone through the roof. Food is not particularly expensive fo most restaurants, so they serve us what we have come to expect - Lots of it! People tend to eat more when served larger portions.

It may be hard to believe that in the 1950s, coca-cola was packaged in 6.5-ounce bottles. Twelve -ounce cans and 20 oz bottles were next in the upsizing timeline, and now it's possible to get a super sized soft drink at a fast food retaurant containing 42 oz or more. That's more than one liter! The original bottle of coke was 81 calories. The super-sized beverage is over 300 calories (it would be more, but you get lots of ice included).

If you go to a fast food restaurant, a regular hamburger weighs in at almost four ounces and contains 250 calories. That's fine, but many people just eat a plain burger. Compare it with a big mac at 7-1/2 ounces and 540 calories. Super size your fries and end up with 320 calories more than a small order. So, a well-known hamburger, giant fries, and a big beverage total 1410 calories - about two thirds of a day's worth of calories for an average sized woman.

Seoul, october 26, 2009 - The internet is set for its biggest technical changein decades when a new multilingual address system is approved this week, a global regulatory body said Monday.

The internet corporation for assigned names and numbers (ICANN) said it would declare an end to the exclusive use of Latin characters for website addresses on Friday - the final day of its six-day conferencein Seoul.

"This is the biggest change technically to the internet since it was invented 40 years ago," Peter Dengate thrush, chairman of the ICANN board in charge of reviewing the change, told a press conference.

Thrush said he expected ICANN's board to grant approval on friday.

When the change comes into force, it will be possible to use characters from other languages - such as chinese, arabic, korean, and japanese - for a full internet address, instead of for just part of an address as now.

ICANN president Rod Beckstorm said the change - designed to serve the growing number of non-english-speaking internet users - would come into force in the middle of 2010. ICANN aims to start receiving applications next month.

"It will take some period of time to process the applications and then introduce the successful applications," Beckstrom told the news conference.

ASEAN could bid to jointly host World Cup: Thai minister

Hua Hin, october 23, 2009 - southeast asian nations could jointly bid to host the FIFA World Cup, the THai finance minister proposed Friday at a summit of the region's leaders.

Korn Chatikavanji said he had discussed the idea of hosting the football tournament with business forums as a means of boosting the economies of the 10-member association of southeast asian nations (ASEAN).

While the proposal is not on the official agenda at the summit, Korn told reporters it could still be discussed by leaders here in the Thai resort of HUa Hin.

"It must be an informal discussion but I think ASEAN has the potential to host the World Cup," he said.

ASEAN groups Thailand, Myanmar, CAmbodia, LAos, Vietnam, the philippines, malaysia, Indonesia, bunei and singapore, which together have a population of nearly 600 million people.

Korn pointed to the 2002 FIFA World Cup, which was held by South Korea and Japan - the first edition in the tournament's history to be hosted by two countries.

The next tournament is set to be held in south africa in 2010, followed by brazil in 2014.

Special Cassava Bibingka

Special Cassava Bibingka recipe:

Ingredients:

7 cups cassava
3 whole eggs
2 1/2 cup sugar
1 big can evaporated milk
2 big can coconut milk (using big can evaporated milk for measuring)
1/4 cup melted margarine

Procedure:

Mix all ingredients together. Blend well. Put in a muffin pans and bake at 350 degree fahrenheit for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.

Topping:

1 can evaporated
2 tablespoon sugar
2 eggyolks, slightly beaten
1 cup thick coconut milk
1 tablespoon flour

Procedure:

Put the first four ingredients in a saucepan and boil,stirring constantly. When thick add the slightly beaten eggyolks. Cook it for 2 minutes spread on the top of cooked cassava and boil it a 400 degree fahrenheit for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

The undiplomatic parting shots of British ambassadors ove the years, in final dispatches to the Foreign and commonweakth office (FCO) in London before leaving their posts overseas, were revealed in a BBC programme aired Tuesday.

Today we can't blame anybody to be paranoid since we are in a difficult economy right now, people panic with the situation, not only in the United States but all over the world! We don't have any idea why it happens too fast. Every citizens in United states is worrying so much - for instance in a Healthcare benefits or obligation, I have read a welfare complaints from Generational equity which all the topic is about social welfare; the topic is centering around younger generations paying for older generations. Well, if some of us are complaining about this maybe we are complaining too early, we don't know what will happen next and we can't predict the outcome ( who knows it might be good). Why, do we have a choice? If the older generations get the benefit today by the help of the younger generations , why can't be? If this is the last solution for today's problems/troubles (due to the government messes) then why not? Let's worry for today first, all we have to do is keep being optimistic and pray that the bad economy is going to be okay in the future.

Royal Bibingka Recipe

Royal Bibingka Recipe:

Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/4 cup coconut milk
2 cup flour
4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Procedure:

Beat eggs until light and creamy, Dissolve sugar in 1/2 of the coconut milk. Mix and sift dry ingredients and by spoonfuls to the sugar and milk mixture. Add the rest of the coconut milk, heat alternately with the dry ingredients, fold in well-beaten eggs. Lines 2 round pans and bake it at moderate oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Procedure:

1. Line a steamer with cheese cloth and banana leaves
2. Combine rice flour, sugar and coconut milk
3. Divide it into three equal parts
4. To the first part add ube and the violte food coloring
5. Pour the mixture into the lined steam until firm
6. To the second part, add red food color to make a light pink, color. Pour it over the first layer. steam it until firm.
7. Pour the last part on the top of the pink layer and steam until firm
8. Let it cool, slice and serve topped with coco and latik.

President Barack Obama signed an executive Order reestablishing the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Isanders, and executive order established a decade ago by president Bill Clinton to improve the quality of life in undeserved AAPI communities through increased participation in federal programs. The signing of the initiative took place at the WHite House on October 15.

As the executive order states, the Initiative "will work to improve the quality of life and opportunities for AAPI's through increased access to, and participation in, Federal programs in which they may be underserved. In addition, each will work to advance relevant evidence-based research, data collection, and analysis for AAPI populations and subpopulations."

The white house initiatives will be housed under the department of education to be co-chaired by secretary education Arnie Duncan and secretary of commerce Gary locke, and by a yet-to-be-named executive director.

The initiatiave will consist of a federal inter-agency working group comprised of staff from various agencies, which will be overseen by a commission comprised of AAPI leaders and experts in various sectors.

Corned Beef, Potato, and Pepper Hash

Corned Beef, Potato, and Pepper Hash Recipe:

Serves 4

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound russet potatoes, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes
2 tablespoons, butter
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 cup chopped red or green bell pepper
12 ounces cooked corned beef, cut into ½-inch cubes
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
¼ cup half-and-half
3 tablespoons white wine
½ teaspoon dry mustard
Black pepper to taste

Procedure:
To a large pot of boiling water, add the salt and potatoes. Cook for 7 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Drain the potatoes well and set aside. Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large, heavy frying pan over medium high heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Pour the contents of the frying pan into a large mixing bowl. Add the corned beef, potatoes, and parsley to the onion mixture. Mix lightly. In another small bowl, combine the half-and-half and wine. Add the mustard and pepper to taste. Pour over the corned beef mixture and mix gently but well. Wipe out the frying pan with a paper towel and set it on the stove over medium heat. When it is hot, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the corned beef mixture and press it down firmly. Cook the hash for 15 minutes, or until it is well-browned, turning it once with a flat spatula.

Ube Calamay Recipe

Ube Calamay Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 kilo ube, cooked then mashed
1 can condensed milk (big)
4 tablespoon margarine
3 bsp. cheese
1/2 teaspoon food coloring violet
3/4 cup white sugar
2 1/2 cup malagkit cooked
1 1 /4 cup rice cooked

Procedure:

> Soak malagkit and rice overnight
> Grind malagkit and rice to make a flour
> Mix together the malagkit and rice flour condensed milk margarine, cheese, sugar then add cooked and mashed ube
> Cook the mixture until thick in low heat, stir continously at 30 minutes or until done.
> Mold in greased pan
> Slice and serve with latik.

Luggage extra pay in the Airport, Weird

When I was traveling from St. Louis to Atlanta I was very surprise on their luggage extra payment, I had only one check-in luggage and I was expecting that I could only pay 15 dollar for the one check-in luggage. But what happened was, at the St. Louis Airport when they weighed my luggage they charged me for about 75$ cost because my luggage had an extra weigh, I was really shocked by the payment, because supposedly they just have only charged me 25$ for one check-in luggage, and for an extra little weigh they charged me for additional 50$?That was unbelievable charge! So it just means I must have had two luggage to prevent the expensive extra payment; if I had had two luggage with no extra weigh I would have been paying 50$ all in all for two luggage other than 75$ for one luggage because I got an extra little weigh, it sounds not good and unfair. It also happened to my friend when they were traveling across the country, every luggage they had, the airlines charged them an extra $50 dollar each because all the luggage they had had an extra weigh on it. It's weird, isn't it?
