MAJA BLANCA Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cup or 1 small pack of cornstarch powder
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 kilo white sugar
2 pieces coconut grated
8 cup water ( for grated coconut)
peanut, ground or latik

Procedure:

Blend cornstarch and sugar thoroughly in a bowl. Add the water. Set aside. Boil thin coconut milk, stirring constantly. Add sugar, cornstarch mixture and stir it to prevent lups. Cook to boil with constant stirring for 3 minutes or until a cooked flavor is obtained. Grease a 31 rectangular pan with coconut oil. Spoon the maja, then allow to set. Slice it in squares or diamond shapes. Arrange it in a platter or saucers. Serve with latik.
